The National Philharmonic of Russia under the direction of the outstanding conductor Vladimir Spivakov will perform the masterpieces of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Serenade for string orchestra and Concerto for violin and orchestra in D major. Soloist – the winner of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition.

The brilliant performance of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in the final of the 2019 Tchaikovsky Competition brought Sergei Dogadin a well-deserved victory.

“Concert for violin and orchestra by Tchaikovsky runs like a red thread throughout my life,” the musician said in an interview. – Considering that I have been performing with him for almost 20 years, the total number of performances of this work by me should not scare anyone – I played it three hundred times. Brilliant music! In each performance of the Concerto, I look for new details.”

Sergei Dogadin graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Trained at the Yehudi Menuhin International Music Academy with Maxim Vengerov. He studied at the Graduate School of Music in Cologne and the Graz University of the Arts in the class of Professor Boris Kuschnir, with whom he continued his studies at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts.

Winner of the IX International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition in Hannover (Germany) and the International Violin Competition in Singapore Dogadin performs with orchestras under the baton of such masters as Yuri Temirkanov, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Saulius Sondetskis, Alexander Rudin.

His concerts take place on the stages of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic, Suntory Hall in Tokyo and Gasteig in Munich, in the Great Hall of the Conservatory and the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic.

In November 2019, Sergei Dogadin brilliantly performed at the Zaryadye Hall with the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra.
