Programme
Overview

Domenico Nordio and Mikhail Lidsky performed together for the first time more than ten years ago in Milan at the Serate Musicali festival. Since then, the musicians have recorded several albums for Decca and regularly give concerts in Europe and Russia.

The bright creative personalities of Nordio and Lidsky have earned recognition from the general public and critics. Mikhail Lidsky is called “one of the most original pianists of modern Russia”, the press writes about him as “an exceptionally subtle, always amazing master of the piano.”

His partner, professor at the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, Domenico Nordio is one of the most famous violinists of his generation. It can be heard at Carnegie Hall in New York, Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He has performed with the Accademia Santa Cecilia Orchestra, the National Orchestras of France and Spain. And it is no coincidence that the Stradivari Foundation in Cremona chose Domenico Nordio as the protagonist of the Friends of Stradivari project - a series of concerts where he played Stradivari, Amati.

Zaryadye Hall - Moscow
Location   Varvarka Street, 6 с.4

Zaryadye Hall is a concert hall in Moscow located in the Zaryadye Natural Landscape Park. Valery Gergiev, Denis Matsuev, Anna Netrebko, Daniil Trifonov and Ildar Abdrazakov spoke at the opening ceremony.

The peculiarity of Zaryadye Hall is its strict genre correspondence. No pop performances are planned in the hall. The Zaryadye Hall received world-class performers on the stages of the Big and Small Halls, introduced the audience to the work of such musicians as mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kozhena (Czech Republic), conductor Andrew Parrot and Taverner Choir, Consort and Players (Great Britain), countertenor Jakub Josef Orlinsky ( Poland), Quatuor Diotima string quartet (France). And these artists, in turn, discovered Moscow and Russia.

The hall hosts concerts of not only outstanding masters, but also young artists, a series of topical musical projects: Sound Up, New Classics. The Zaryadye Hall hosted the world premiere of the ballet "Little Red Riding Hood" by the famous dancer Sergei Polunin. The repertoire of the hall also includes educational programs for children and adults: excursions, lectures, master classes, and interactive concert programs.
