Their soulful dance hits brought the groove into the 70s and with their unique mix of different musical styles and their colorful stage show, the band created a party atmosphere at the Castle Festival!

The group's earlier sound was jazz-influenced, but over time it evolved into an exciting mix of funk, gospel and big band influences. Long before the term "discomusic" existed, Earth, Wind & Fire celebrated worldwide success with danceable soul music. Their international career began at the latest with the album "That's the Way of the World" from 1975 and they became superstars with this mixture of party and happy music. In doing so, they had a decisive influence on both the ending hippie era and the beginning of the disco era.
