Overview

Ludi is the title of his latest record. In this work, the musician chooses to combine once again the piano, the drums of Mathieu Edward and the images.

His compositional work is unique as well as talented; Chassol goes out and records the sounds around him in everyday life, and when he returns home with all the material, he extracts the melody from the sounds and adds chords. With his music, the charismatic Christophe Chassol organizes the emotions that life produces. With his musical language, he describes his emotions while harmonizing the reality around him. In this Campus Peralada session, Chassol will talk about Ludi, but also about how he has shaped his own style known as ultrascore, his great passion for cinema and soundtracks and why images are as important as music.
