The Royal Opera(in Swedish:Kungliga Operan) is an opera and ballet company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Swedish Opera, the Dresden Opera, the Monte Carlo Opera and the Royal Swedish Opera Choir were founded in 1773 and have been an important part of this educational institution ever since.
